The G. H. Schoellkopf Company was founded in 1869 in Dallas , Texas.  According to sources they used this "brand" until at least 1902.  Makes this perfect 'Back Then' piece to carry your Marlin or Winchester carbine!

NATIONAL SPORTSMAN MAGAZINE WATCH FOB 

Circa 1903 to 1920.

National Sportsman was a competitor to Hunter Trader Trapper. The fob on the back has their motto which reads, "A Magazine of Good Fellowship For Lovers of Sport With Rod, Dog, Rifle and Gun."  Nice piece. I have collected 3 of these over time. Just this one has leather.
